The Sportsmens Den is located in Central New York. We are a family owned and operated sporting goods store! We have been serving the southern tier for 10 years. Our outstanding knowledge and expertise in the hunting, target, and outdoors, surpasses our competition. We are an authorized dealer in all major manufacturers. If we do not have something you are looking for we can order it. If you are "new" to hunting, archery, fishing, trapping etc.. We are the ones to get you set up, and out in the woods, or on the lake. Our staff is friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and very understanding. Take a moment to get to know us: Hap: He has been Hunting & Fishing for 40+ years. Hap has worked in the sporting goods business for 25 years, as a factory rep, salesmen, and a retail owner. You will find that he has a vested interest in teaching the "younger" generation how to hunt, fish, or trap responsibly & ethically. His experience in guns, fishing, trapping etc.. Comes from his own personal experience in the outdoors. He sat on the DEC board for many years, and is extremely knowledgeable in all the rules and regs associated with the outdoors. Donnie: Has been involved in the outdoors since his childhood. At 15 he went to work at a local archery shop in Lock Port NY. His family then moved to the Southern Tier in the early 90's and purchased the "Sportsmens Den". He has been working side by side with his father (Hap) for the last 10 years. His main area of expertise is Archery, anything and everything to do with bow hunting, or target shooting. If you have a question or concern about your bow he is the guy to see. He also is highly knowledgeable in guns, including gun smithing, repairs, and your everyday out door needs. Donnie shoots in many competitions both indoor and out.(when hes not working) He is a very successful bow hunter and has gone on many hunting trips across the country. Amy: Is Donnie's wife, and worked for us in the office and on the floor for 5 years, and then decided to take time off to be at home to raise their 2 children. You won't see her in the store too often unless its a busy time of the year and she helps out. She works behind the scenes.. Developing the website and taking care of other online activity. This way she can still be at home with their children. |
